Registration for the Mandel School for Educational Leadership has begun
The Mandel Leadership Institute is pleased to announce that registration for the School for Educational Leadership has begun.
The goal of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership is to develop and foster influential leaders with vision to spearhead the advancement of education in Israel. The program is targeted at fellows that have professional and managerial experience and that exhibit the capability of leading significant change in education.
The Fellows of Cohort 17, who will commence their studies at the Mandel School for Educational Leadership in September 2008, will participate in a unique program over two years, in an environment of pluralism and academic excellence. The challenging curriculum allows fellows to dedicate their time to thinking, planning and clarification in preparation for returning to influential positions in the field of education in Israel.
Fellows of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership include men and women from the range of diverse streams in Israeli society. Fellows have practical experience in educational entrepreneurship, proven managerial experience and a significant academic background.
During their two years of study Fellows receive a monthly stipend which enables them to dedicate their time and effort to the program. Applicants should have a Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, at least five years of proven managerial experience in educational organizations, commitment to the field of education and educational activity, and a determination to be influential in this field.
