Maintaining and enlarging the VJEP Library is an integral part of VJEP efforts. Our goal is to make the Library accessible to the world of Jewish education, in part through an online resource library.

The decade-long project that produced Visions of Jewish Education generated scholarly papers, case studies of teaching, colloquia, and research materials. Visions of Jewish Education includes only a portion of these resources.

The ongoing work of the VJEP results in the constant production of new materials, many of which grow out of participants’ work in developing educational vision in their settings. These visions resources are housed in our offices in Jerusalem.

As a first step, we offer some of the articles quoted in the chapters of Visions of Jewish Education for Further Reading. These units include articles quoted or excerpted in the supplements that readers may wish to read in full.

We plan to offer such resources for all of the chapters and conceptions in Visions of Jewish Education, as well as for new conceptions developed as part of the VJEP. Possible future additions to the VJEP Library also include online courses on Visions of Jewish Education for teachers, students in college and university programs, and others.

A second phase of the Library, designed for Continued Study, is currently under construction. This collection will include materials related to each of the visions. The first set of materials available online focuses on Isadore Twersky’s Conception. Resources in the Continued Study units are organized as follows:
