Grants Coordinator

The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation seeks a Grants Coordinator for our Cleveland headquarters.  The Grants Coordinator will be responsible for the operational aspects of our grants.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate workflow of grant recommendations through the review and approval process
  • Create and maintain database records for grants and ensure appropriate staff receives updated and relevant information on the status of grants
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of grant agreements
  • Monitor grant activities and requirements including site inspections, reports and compliance
  • Ensure the timeliness of grant payments in accordance with the grant agreement
  • Respond to grant-related questions and issues
  • Review and summarize grantee reports for review by leadership

The Grants Coordinator will report to the Director of Grant Operations.

Candidates for the position should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with high academic achievement
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Deadline orientated with the ability to systematically process grants quickly and accurately
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with grants database is helpful
  • Financial experience is helpful
