The Mandel Foundation Welcomes Two New Board Trustees, Erika Rudin-Luria and Reneé Chelm

The Mandel Foundation is pleased to welcome two new members to the Board of Trustees. Erika Rudin-Luria is President of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, only the fifth person to hold this title in the Federation’s 115-year history. Most recently, Erika served as the organization’s Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, in which she oversaw the Federation’s strategic planning, community development, allocations, governance and marketing functions. In this capacity, she provided the vision and direction to drive the Federation’s planning and research agendas as well as to develop solutions for evolving community needs. Over the years, Erika has held a wide range of positions of increasing responsibility. She first joined the Federation in 2001 and began her career as a Project Coordinator with UJA-Federation of New York.

Reneé Chelm is the former owner and President of Omni Sales, Inc., and is a Life Trustee with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. She has extensive leadership involvement in the Jewish community and serves on multiple boards that include the Jewish Federation of North America. Reneé is also the Vice President of the Milton & Tamar Maltz Jewish Heritage Museum Board of Trustees. She is engaged with many local organizations including the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation, Dress for Success and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
